MEIR HEATH & ROUGH CLOSE VILLAGE HALL
"PARISH OFFICE EXTENSION"

The official opening of the recently completed extension to "Meir Heath & Rough Close Village Hall" took place on May 15th, 2007 at 7.30pm.

The opening was carried out by the Chairman of Fulford Parish Council, Cllr Martin Oxby, in the company of invited guests.

The extension, costing £110,000 was made possible through donation and grants from the following bodies:

  • Fulford Parish Council
  • Stafford Borough Council
  • Staffordshire County Council
  • Awards for All (Lottery)
  • Staffordshire Environmental Fund (via the "Landfill Communities Fund")

    The extension has provided a much needed enlarged meeting/function room, a Parish Office, and a small "Surgery" style room.

    The Village Hall Management Committee wishes to publicly thank all the mentioned bodies for their support and generous financial contributions, and for ensuring the success of the project.
