Police Authority meeting

As part of the ongoing commitment to improving trust and confidence within the community, a public meeting is being held later this month.

Officers from Stone Neighbourhood Policing Unit (NPU) are urging the public to voice their concerns a Police Authority Community Consultation (PACC) meeting.

The meeting, led by the Police Authority and accompanied by officers from Stone NPU, will be held at Meir Heath and Rough Close Village Hall on Grange Road in Meir Heath on Thursday 24 April at 7pm.

Inspector Carl Humphries, commander of Stone NPU, said: “Residents are being invited to attend the meeting and talk to their local officers about issues that affect them.

“The PACC meetings are an excellent opportunity for the community to discuss any local policing issues they may have. These can include anti-social behaviour and road safety concerns such as speeding and it gives me an opportunity to hear first hand the problems affecting the local community.”
