**COUNCILLOR**
There is a vacancy for a Councillor in the Meir Heath Ward and also one in the Fulford Ward.

**PARISH CLERK**
The applicants for the position of Parish Clerk have been interviewed and the replacement chosen for our present Clerk, Martin Manley, following his decision to retire from office at the end of May 2008. The successful applicant is Mr Stephen Beck of Fulford.

**WEEKLY SURGERIES**
On EVERY MONDAY (EXCEPT BANK HOLIDAYS), a member of the Parish Council will be present at the annexe to the MEIR HEATH & ROUGH CLOSE VILLAGE HALL, GRANGE ROAD, MEIR HEATH between 11.00AM and 1.00PM to discuss any problems or issues which the Parish Council may be able to help with.

A REFUSE LORRY will next be available for the collection of household items between 9am and 11am:
